Last Updated: Thursday, 4 December 2025
Welcome to Medari (“Medari,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Medari mobile and web applications, website, content, features, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using Medari, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.
1. What Medari Is
Medari is an AI-powered platform designed to help individuals gain clarity about their symptoms and communicate more effectively with healthcare providers. Medari provides health-related insights, educational content, symptom tracking, and preparation tools for doctor appointments.
Medari Does Not:
- Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Replace a licensed healthcare professional
- Serve as an emergency-response or crisis service
- Act as a HIPAA-covered entity or create a provider–patient relationship
If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Medari. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. User Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and notify us immediately of unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. User Content
“User Content” includes symptoms, notes, health history, preferences, uploaded materials, and any content you provide. By submitting User Content, you grant Medari a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store and process your data
- Provide the Services
- Improve our algorithms, features, and user experience (in de-identified or aggregated form only)
We do not sell your personal information. You retain all ownership of your personal health data.
5. AI-Generated Insights
Medari uses artificial intelligence to generate insights and recommendations based on user inputs and clinical reference data. You acknowledge and agree that outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate, AI suggestions are for informational purposes only, and you will not rely on Medari as a substitute for professional medical advice. Medari is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated information.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Medari for unlawful purposes, attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our systems, misuse the Services in ways that may harm others, or upload harmful software. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Paid Features
If Medari offers premium subscriptions or paid features, fees will be disclosed prior to purchase, subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled, and purchases are final unless otherwise stated.
8. Intellectual Property
Medari owns all rights to the platform, including software, design, AI models, content, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Medari is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about accuracy of insights, health outcomes, availability, or error-free operation. Medari does not practice medicine.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted, Medari is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid (if any) for the Services in the last 12 months. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations — in those cases, the limits apply only to the extent allowed.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Medari against claims arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date and notify users as required. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or to protect the integrity of our Services. You may stop using Medari at any time and request account deletion (see Privacy Policy).
